ENVISIONING A NEW OPERATIONAL SYSTEM

Humanity is at an evolutionary crossroads. Old systems developed in times past cannot support a whole-systems approach for the future that is genuinely inclusive and beneficial to all. The calendar presently in use as a civil standard worldwide, for over 400 years, is a prime example of this. This calendar represents the operational system of civilization, and, yet, we rarely consider its effect upon our lives.

Operational system is a term used in data warehousing to refer to a system that is used to process the day-to-day transactions of an organization. These systems are designed in a manner that processing of day-to-day transactions is performed efficiently and the integrity of the transactional data is preserved (Wikipedia).

From this perspective, modern civilization can be considered a large organizational body whose operational system (calendar) has been used to coordinate and process commerce-oriented transactions since the start of the industrial revolution. This has engendered what has now become a very material-oriented paradigm out of pace with Nature. The irregular and artificial nature of the current calendar is at the root of this problem, and therefore, it can neither provide nor ensure the integrity, efficiency, and harmony of human activity, including most transactions and agreements we make.

How can a fundamental change within this operational system positively impact our relationship with ourselves and with others, and, ultimately, foster greater harmony and coherence between the human species and Nature (the biosphere)? We invite you to explore the possibilities that can open for us (individually and collectively) by simply adopting a NEW harmonic standard for measuring our most valuable asset: TIME.

*It is important to distinguish the difference between an operational system and what may be more popularly known as an operating system (OS). Whereas, the operational system is the framework that ensures organizational efficiency and data integrity in transactions, an operating system is the software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs (Wikipedia). Simply put, an operational system refers to a framework while operating system refers to the software that operates on a framework.

 

COSMOMETRY: A whole-system Universal approach

Mathemathics is the language of Nature. At a fundamental level everything in the creation is governed by the same fractal geometrical structures. Cosmometry is the “study of those fundamental patterns, structures, processes and principles that are at the foundation of reality, and the application of this knowledge in the design of human social and technological systems.”

This new field of study is helping us to reach a unified understanding of cosmic coherence to a new level of integration and wholeness. How can we make the best use of these simple and fundamental truths present in ALL Nature to develop practical applications that engender more efficient technologies and whole-system-based solutions across all sectors of human concern? Let’s explore the most BASIC application of this new vision of the cosmos through its most elegant and efficient structure:

 

The Vector Equilibrium and the 12+1 model

 

 

“The Vector Equilibrium (VE) is the most primary geometric energy array in the cosmos. It is more appropriately referred to as a “system” than as a structure, due to it having square faces that are inherently unstable and therefore non-structural.”

 

NATURE’S OPERATIONAL  SYSTEM: 
The Universal 12+1 Model

“The 12-around-1 framework is fundamental as it is found in the cosmometry of both the Vector Equilibrium and Icosahedron – two of the primary geometric configurations of the cosmos. In essence, the concept of a 12-around-1 whole-system model of the basic areas of human concern has the intention of providing an organizing framework that can assure that, as we apply ourselves to the design and application of solutions to our worldly challenges, we do so with a minimum-sufficient set of considerations at the outset and throughout the whole process. Each sector can be seen as a fractal “whole” unto itself, and yet each one is always in relationship to the others and the dynamics of the whole as it evolves over time.

The 12 sector names represent the most generalized, broad-strokes primary categories of human concern. Each one can of course be expanded into a vast array of sub-categories pertinent to their respective domains (some of which may even apply across multiple sectors). At the center is Worldview which is a synthesis of all the sectors in a synergetic whole that informs the perceptions and agreements that participants use to collaborate in whole-system design and problem-solving processes. In the version below, Whole System Design is also included in the center to represent the aspect of applying this model that is specifically oriented to discerning and attending to the dynamics and interrelatedness of the sectors when combined as a whole.”

 

 

APPLIED Synergetics 101: “Early in the 20th century, inspired by the emerging realization in science that all manifestation in the universe is “energy” and “vibration”, Buckminster Fuller began experimenting with models of structural forms in the quest to discover how nature coordinates this energy to create all the beauty and magnificence of life. Fuller called himself a “comprehensivist”, one who holds a comprehensive perspective that seeks to synthesize apparent “parts” into an ever-unifying wholistic understanding. In his quest he discovered what he referred to as “nature’s coordinate system”, the geometric articulation of energetic relationships, which he named Synergetics.”

The LUNAR+SOLAR+TERRESTRIAL Operational System: 12+1

To change the calendar from the erroneous Gregorian calendar to the mathematical harmony and elegance of the 13-Month, 28-Day calendar constitutes a quantum evolutionary leap for humanity.

The 13-Month, 28-Day calendar is a calendrical model that has been used by numerous indigenous cultures and civilizations prior to the “ERROR IN TIME”.

WHAT is the “ERROR IN TIME”?

The “ERROR IN TIME” refers to the irrational adoption of an irregular and inaccurate standard unit of measure: the month.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a month is defined as the “measure of time corresponding nearly to the period of the moon’s revolution and amounting to approximately 4 weeks or 30 days or 1⁄12 of a year.”

 

A “month” (derived from the word moon) is the only unit of measure whose units do not correspond. Is it a month 28, 29, 30 or 31 days? All others units of measure (temperature, distance, size, sound, weight, pressure etc.) are part of a regular and logical measurement system. In the current world standard 12-month Gregorian calendar, the units of measure known as months are of  UNEQUAL length. Perhaps it is the only measurement known to man that has unequal units of measure.

Consider that today is Friday. Using the 12-month system, it is “Friday, July 22nd, 2016” One month later in this system, it will be “August 22nd” But what day of the week will it be? Because the months are irregular and do not have a whole number of weeks, WE DO NOT KNOW. When there is this kind of disruption in the flow of consciousness, it equates to a “glitch” in the operating system. It causes error and confusion. And this occurs every day for millions of people. Such a system is an idiotic basis of human thought. It is a time virus, and so it is a consciousness virus. The ramifications are incredible just as it is incredible that such a system of confusion is still in use.

Since the evolution of consciousness is coordinated by time, the “ERROR IN TIME” is keeping the human species on an erratic path disconnected from nature’s cycles and trapped in an entropic paradigm that is based on an artificial and irrational perception of time.

A new calendar that models and honors the human fertility cycle, the moon cycles in Nature, provides an ideal operational framework for a new civilization to flourish, that mirrors Nature at its central core. This new framework fosters new models of thinking, technological progress, and the emergence of organizations that are holistic in nature.

The difference between effectiveness and efficiency can be summed up shortly and succinctly – Being effective is about doing the right things, while being efficient is about doing things right.

Changing our calendar is the right thing to do NOW, in order to start doing things right!

 

The HUMAN Operational System:

The numbers 13 and 28 are embedded into our biology. The human skeletal system, providing the structural form for the body to move, is comprised by 13 major joints:

2 ankles + 2 knees + 2 hips + 2 wrists +2 elbows + 2 shoulders= 12 +1 neck= 13

Similarly, the phalanges or finger bones are 14 in number; 3 for each finger, and 2 for the thumb.

14 phalanges x 2 hands= 28

The human fertility cycle is also 28 days. This cycle has been disrupted at a mass-scale by the irregularity of the Gregorian calendar.

The 13-month calendar re-harmonizes human bio-rhythms with the cycles of Nature, particularly the menstrual cycle. By re-attuning ourselves to an accurate timing standard, we are correcting the “ERROR IN TIME”, realigning with our own internal nature and moving in the direction of evolution. We cannot continue to operate by a calendrical model that fosters entropy and decay. It is therefore of vital importance that we make the conscious choice to UPGRADE to an accurate nature-based calendar system that supports a sustainable future and is based on a scalable system model that can be applied across the whole spectrum of human interactions, from the micro to the macro levels.
